With crocuses blooming and birds singing, Art’s Friends is rolling out the red carpet for their favorite season! The community is officially invited to the 4th Annual Art, Treasures and Rarities Auction, taking place from April 10 through May 6, 2026.
This year’s event is more than just bidding—it’s a celebration of the artists, volunteers, and art lovers who help the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center flourish. It’s truly a “win-win”: not only can you take home unique treasures, but your support also sustains art classes, Takeaway Art Packets for children, and vital gallery improvements.

A Heartfelt Thank You
“This event is truly a labor of love,” says the Art’s Friends team. “We’re deeply thankful for the artists donating their work, the volunteers hosting the events, and the buyers whose generosity sustains our programs. Purchasing art here isn’t just about decorating a wall—it’s investing in Wellsboro’s cultural heartbeat.”
